Kremlin: If Any Country Arrests Putin It “Would Be A Declaration Of War”

In response to the arrest warrant for Russian President Vladimir Putin that was issued last Friday by the International Criminal Court (ICC), the former Russian president and current deputy chairman of the security council, Dmitry Medvedev, has issued a stark warning that any attempt to arrest Putin would be seen as an actor of war by the Kremlin.

On Monday, Medvedev said, “It’s quite possible to imagine a hypersonic missile being fired from the North Sea from a Russian ship at The Hague courthouse,” before adding, “Everyone walks under God and rockets… Look carefully to the sky…”

Then, on Wednesday, Medvedev posted a video statement to Telegram that blatantly claimed any “arrest” would be seen as a declaration of war and would essentially lead to a third world war.

“Let’s imagine – obviously this situation which will never be realized – but nevertheless lets imagine that it was realized: The current head of the nuclear state went to a territory, say Germany, and was arrested,” Medvedev said.

“What would that be? It would be a declaration of war on the Russian Federation,” he added. “And in that case, all our assets – all our missiles et cetera – would fly to the Bundestag, to the Chancellor’s office,” Medvedev concluded.

Medvedev’s comments were in response to Germany announcing that should Putin set foot on its territory, Berlin would cooperate with the ICC and have him arrested.

Given that the ICC does not have a police force, the only way for Putin to be detained would be by a government, so it is unlikely that the arrest warrant could be enforced. The warrant does complicate travel to European and other capitals that cooperate with the ICC for the Russian president.

While current outrage is focused on Medvedev, Americans would do well to remember that during the Bush administration several years ago, a similar statement was made – that the U.S. would invade the Netherlands if an American was ever arrested and held at The Hague.

Kyiv is also claiming that the ICC warrant has made negotiating with Putin all but impossible.

According to Mykhailo Podolyak, an advisor to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, Putin is “an obvious international criminal” since the issuance of his arrest warrant by the ICC, which “directly means there will be no negotiations with the current Russian elite.”

The ICC’s arrest warrant for Putin appears to be causing more challenges and potentially doing more harm than good.

I think if the president of ANY country were to be arrested by a foreign country, it would be viewed as an act of war. I don’t think Russia or Putin are unique in this position.

The more fiction I see spouted by Slow Pedo Joe about Russia, and all the inappropriate money thrown at a clearly corrupt Ukraine make me think more and more that Putin is really the only one with any sense of reality or a clue in this game. Trying to shut down the NWO bullcrapis justification enough for whag is going on.
