Thousands of Ukrainian nationalists marched in Kyiv today to protest what they see as ‘capitulation’ to Russia in negotiations over the war in Donbass by the new government of Volodymyr Zelenskiy.
Tsarizm was on the ground and emotions ran high as veterans military leaders worked up the crowd while hundreds carrying Ukrainian and nationalist flags marched in Independence Square in the center of the old city.
The rally marked Defender of Ukraine Day.
