Russia Goes Hard Against Israeli Actions In Gaza, Despite Large Russian Diaspora In The Jewish State

I have written for some time that it was the early 2000s when Russian President Vladimir Putin started to lose hope for Russian participation in Western ‘democracy’, and began to rearm the Russian empire.

The 2008 Russo-Georgian War soon followed.

We know the rest of the story.

In my view, Putin saw with clear eyes Western encroachment of the NATO alliance to his borders, and saw that instead of freedom and democracy, Western elites were actually pushing something very different.

In short, Putin looked at the West, and saw himself – rulers overseeing an oligarchy, whose interests drove the state apparatus, and where a vast propaganda machine operated to keep the public in the dark as to the real functions of the administrative state.

The 2006 murder of Russian journalist Anna Politkovskaya is when the mask fell off the Putin regime.

The theft of the 2020 presidential election in America was the beginning of the end for Western fascist elites, operating in the dark, to fool the American public.

We don’t know yet how this story ends, but we do absolutely know we are not going back to the America of 2010.

The case of Russian interaction with The Jewish State during this period is very curious.

On one hand, Russia shares a massive Jewish diaspora with Israel — millions of Jews immigrated after the fall of the Soviet Union, and fueled the ‘Start-Up Nation’ as Israel is described in tech circles.

Today, many wealthy Russians have family in Israel, who travel back and forth. Many wealthy Russian Jewish families have sent their sons out of the country to avoid the Russian draft, yet they freely move back and forth between the two nations, as if nothing has happened.

In addition, Russia has recently gone hard in the information war against Israel, and its actions in Gaza.

Russian state-run media outlet TASS, had this to say about the Gaza conflict recently:

“It’s unprecedented when you think that in six months more than 30,000 people have been killed. We know that among them there are 13,000 children. We know that there were more children killed in Gaza in six months than in all the conflicts across the world in the last four years…So, it’s unprecedented in scale, as well as the level of destruction,” Philippe Lazzarini, Commissioner-General of the UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) [emphasized in a recent trip to Moscow].

Russian and Israeli forces have also come close to blows in Syria, as the Kremlin supports the Assad regime, and tolerates and enables the Shia theocracy in Tehran, something that is an anathema to Israeli leadership.

The Kremlin, and Jerusalem, continue to walk a fine line in relations between the two countries.

If you were to ask either side, “It’s complicated,” is the likely response you would receive.

However, it is clear Western actions against Moscow have pushed it into the willing arms of Beijing and Tehran.

Russian criticism of Israeli actions in Gaza is proof of this phenomenon.

However, the blood bond between Moscow and Israel is strong.

It will take much more stress to break it completely.

The hoped for ‘end game’ for all of this in the Russian capital, and in Israel, is the return of Trump, and some adult leadership in the Middle East.

Moscow is biding its time in Ukraine, and the Levant, for this hoped-for eventually.

After all, Russia does not want a fascist new world order any more than MAGA does.

But, Russia will survive. Survival is an art form of the Russian soul.

Moscow will work with the Chinese Communist Party, who is one of the engines behind the UN push for the NWO, as long as it needs to, and will criticize Israel as long as it needs to.
