Well it finally happened, the prisoner exchange between the Ukrainian military and the pro-Russian separatists in Donbass. The event took place near the town of Horlivka in East Ukraine. The numbers were lopsided, approximately 300 soldiers and civilians were returned to the rebels, while 74 were repatriated to Ukraine proper.

The exchange had been discussed for some time but finally took place today, December 27th, 2017, for the New Year.
