It is no secret that liberal Europe does not like the American president, Donald Trump. Trump is about everything that Europe is not…freedom, limited government, and nationalism. Just ask the parents in the UK that are forbidden per court order from taking their child from the hospital and sending him elsewhere for treatment, leaving him to die. If that is not 1984 reincarnate, I don’t know what is.

However, there are parts of Europe where the feelings are mutual with Trump. Eastern Europe is where the presidents has decided to go prior to meeting the leaders of the G20 in Hamburg, Germany, where the conversation will most likely be about climate change, rather than security and preserving your culture.

Poland is the first stop and is rolling out the red carpet. Poland also happens to be one of the few NATO states actually paying the agree upon 2% of their GDP for their own defense. Germany, one of the wealthiest and most successful economies in the world, just can’t seem to find the money to do so. Trump has pointed that out many times publicly to the consternation of Angela Merkel and other leaders.

Poland, along with Hungary and the Czech Republic, have refused to admit migrants demanded by Brussels; they would rather make sure their citizens are not victims of terror and their religious heritage is preserved.

Trump will arrive tonight and give a speech tomorrow at Krasinski Square, near the site of the 1944 Warsaw Uprising against the Nazis. He will also hold a press conference with Polish President Andrzej Duda, reports Associated Press.

“Even if he doesn’t mention Putin or Russia outright, just stepping foot in Poland sends a powerful statement,” said Jim Carafano, a foreign policy analyst at the Heritage Foundation, a conservative think tank. “Europe is working for energy independence — looking for free market solutions — and Poland is in the middle of that energy corridor, so it makes so much sense that the president would go there and talk about energy policy,” reports AP.

One thing is for sure, there will be plenty of news for the spin cycle over the duration of the trip. It is also for sure that the media will spin the events negative against the popular American leader.
