Sources from Iranian social media activists indicate an “intense clash” between security forces and fans attending a football match in Tehran’s Azadi Stadium on Friday. Thousands of football fans at Tehran’s Azadi Stadium chanted anti-government slogans in the course of the clash, which appeared to be not politically motivated initially.
The video shows the crowd chanting “Death to the dictator.”
In other videos, thousands of spectators chant slogans, “This is the Zionist regime,” responding to the Iranian regime’s anti-Israeli rhetoric which blames every violent or opposite voices on abroad, reported Iran News Wire.
