According to Inkerman, 5 of the border crossings between Moldova and Ukraine temporarily closed late Wednesday evening (local time), as reported by Moldovan authorities. The temporary closures are due to ongoing power outages on the Ukrainian side of the border.
The border checkpoints affected are:
- Saiti – Lesnoe
- Clocusna – Sokirani
- Tudora – Starokazacie
- Mirnoe – Tabaki
- Vulcanesti – Vinogradovka
Considerable disruptions are expected over the coming days at border crossings as traffic is rerouted to operational checkpoints.

Longer queues should be anticipated at border crossings, and additional time should be factored in for any trips that involve crossing the Moldovan/Ukrainian border.
