Belarus Holds WWII Victory Day Parade In Defiance Of Chinese Coronavirus

Thousands of citizens of Belarus came out in the capital Minsk to celebrate the 75th anniversary of Victory Day, which marks the victory of allied troops against Nazi Germany in WWII, or The Great Patriotic War as the Soviets called it.

President Aleksander Lukashenko has not locked down the country during the Chinese coronavirus pandemic, saying ‘the horrors of WWII were much worse than what we are experiencing today.’
