The new Zaryadye Park near Red Square in Moscow is all the rage for tourists and locals alike.
Zaryadye Park (Russian: Парк «Зарядье») is a landscape urban park located adjacent to Red Square in Moscow, Russia on the site of the former Rossiya Hotel. Zaryadye Park is the first public park built in Moscow for over 50 years, the last being the Soviet Friendship Park built for the 1957 Festival of Youth and Students.[2] The park was inaugurated on 9 September 2017 by Russian President Vladimir Putin and Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin. Time magazine puts Zaryadye Park on 2018 list of World’s Greatest Places, writes Wikipedia.
However, one problem, it seems the locals are having sex in broad daylight in the park…
“We’re seeing an unprecedented number of cases where people are having sex here at Zaryadye [Park]” chief architect Sergei Kuznetsov said Friday. “There are videos,” he was quoted as saying by the Moskva news agency, reported The Moscow Times.
Not all people were happy about this development. Russia’s ultra-conservative Duma deputy Vitaly Milonov likened the couples to feral animals. “People come to the park to rest and get peace of mind … but intercourse between these two rabbits violates the condition of that peace of mind,” Milonov was quoted as saying in the pro-Kremlin Izvestia daily.
