Former Ukrainian Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov is not being subtle. In a series of recent statements, he has laid out exactly what is coming — domestically-built Ukrainian ballistic missiles striking Russian territory within three to six months, Elon Musk deeply embedded in the war effort through ongoing Starlink negotiations, and a fully autonomous robot drone army that will reshape warfare as humanity has ever known it.
Let that sink in. A former cabinet minister of a nation at war — a man who built Ukraine’s drone program from scratch — is openly describing a future in which machines hunt and kill humans and other machines, with no human in the loop. He is not speaking hypothetically. He is describing what his government is actively building.
On the missile front, Fedorov told CBS News that Ukraine expects to launch its first domestically-produced ballistic missile against Russian territory before the end of 2026. The program accelerated significantly during his tenure as defense minister, and he says it is now too far along to stop regardless of who sits in Kyiv’s cabinet. Three to six months. That is the window, reported Clash Report from an television interview Fedorov gave.
On Musk: Fedorov declared he remains in active talks with Elon Musk over the use of Starlink terminals to counter Russian ballistic missile systems deployed on Russian soil. This is not a peripheral relationship. Starlink has been the backbone of Ukrainian battlefield communications since the early days of the war — and now Fedorov is describing an expansion of that role into offensive and counter-missile operations. Musk, whether he intends it or not, is a material participant in this conflict, according to Fedorov. We do not have that confirmed.
And then there is the robot army.
Fedorov has published what amounts to a three-stage blueprint for total battlefield robotization. Stage one: replace infantry with machines for logistics and frontline support. Stage two: autonomous systems attacking targets. Stage three — and this is the part that should stop every thinking person cold — autonomous drones powered by artificial intelligence, with no human making the kill decision.
“The next stage of this war will be robots and drones fighting other autonomous robots and drones,” Fedorov said.
He is not wrong about the trajectory. Ukrainian drones already account for approximately 95 percent of casualties inflicted on Russian soldiers along the front. Ukraine has contracted 25,000 unmanned ground vehicles for 2026 alone — more than double the 2025 total. The infrastructure for the robot army is already being built, funded by Western partners who have now, in Fedorov’s own words, finally come around to understanding that the future belongs to drones.
“Two or three years ago, our partners didn’t understand the new reality,” Fedorov said. “They asked us why we were betting on drones, why we invested a lot in these directions, and they didn’t believe that the future belongs to drones and that the war is the drone. But today, I can say that all our key partners really understand that the situation is different, and the future belongs to drones and robotic technologies.”
This is the world the globalist war machine is building in Ukraine — a proving ground for autonomous killing systems that will eventually be deployed everywhere. A robot mercenary army, unaccountable to any electorate, unpiloted by any soldier who might hesitate, funded by Western taxpayers and Silicon Valley billionaires, with Elon Musk’s satellite network as its nervous system.
The people pushing this forward are not thinking about peace. They are thinking about the next war — and the one after that. Ukraine is the laboratory. The rest of humanity is the experiment.
