UPDATE: 25 km breakthrough

7 km wide. ZSU withdrew.

Operational cauldron on Pokrovsk. Direct threat and breakthrough to Kramatorsk. Defense lines broken in. Retreating.

Several groups closed somewhere, not reported where.

KYIV – A Russian missile strike on July 21 hit a Ukrainian training camp near Kropyvnytskyi, killing at least a dozen foreign volunteer soldiers from countries including the US, Colombia, Taiwan, and Denmark.

The attack occurred during lunch and also ignited an ammunition depot, causing more explosions. Over 100 were wounded, wrote the NYT.

The base’s air raid siren didn’t sound, and first aid supplies were missing. Ukraine is investigating and plans to move more training underground to avoid future mass-casualty strikes.

Russian troops broke through Ukrainian defenses in the Donetsk region yesterday and today and advanced to Dobropol. The settlements of Zolotoi Kolodez and Kucherov Yar have already been overrun. Thus, the depth of advancement was more than ten kilometers. In the current realities of the special military operation, this is a very serious breakthrough.

The development is on the left of Kramatorsk, making Kramatorsk-Slaviansk-Pokrovsk the next cities to fall.

ZSU forces are withdrawing.
