Kremlin aid Yury Ushakov declared yesterday that U.S. President Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin will meet for a long meeting on the sidelines of the G20 in Argentina beginning at the end of November. This will be after the two leaders meet on November 11th in Paris at the WWI Centennial celebration.

Asked how long Moscow expected the meeting with Trump to last in Paris, Ushakov told reporters the meeting would be short but that a later meeting on the sidelines of the G20, taking place over Nov 30 and Dec 1, would be “lengthy and substantive”. The White House had no immediate comment, reported The Moscow Times.

President Trump has shown a willingness to attempt to better relations with the Russian Federation but has been held back in this effort by the Western media and political opposition, as well as by Russian behavior itself.

It seems the real ‘reset’ with Russia is an on-going process that could last some time as Moscow realizes they are no longer able to enjoy the weakness of the Obama administration.
