President Trump, prior to a meeting at The White House with Polish President Andrzej Duda today, confirmed that the United States is considering a request to permanently station America military forces in the Central European nation of Poland.
“Poland is willing to make a very major contribution to the United States to come in and have a presence in Poland, and certainly it’s something we’ll discuss,” Trump said, adding that “we’re looking at it very seriously,” reported RFERL.

Poland has offered $2 billion for an American base in-country, along the NATO border with Russia.
The Kremlin is not amused with such a development, and frequently brings up the specter of NATO expansion to justify its activities in its ‘near abroad’.
