Tens of thousands of supporters of Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinian rallied in central Yerevan’s Republic Square on August 17 to mark his first 100 days in office, an event the premier called a “demonstration of national unity.” Pashinian came to power unexpectedly in May after organizing massive anticorruption protests that led to the resignation of then-Prime Minister Serzh Sarkisian, reported RFERL.
