Romanian police arrested dozens of migrants near the Hungarian border as the flow from North Africa and the Middle East continues. With previous routes blocked by fences and more security personnel, migrants are looking for alternate routes to Western Europe. Hungary is part of the Schengen free movement zone. Romania is not.
EU Sanctions Hungary, Czechs, Poland Over Migrants
The migrants were from Afghanistan, India, Iran and Iraq, and previously living in Romanian shelters for those seeking asylum. Most of the ‘refugees’ are not political asylum seekers but in reality are simply economic migrants, which do not enjoy international protection. International agencies and Western European governments have refused to recognize this fact which has changed the demographics and culture of Europe forever.
Hungary Closes Border With Croatia, Migrants Flood Into Tiny Slovenia
“The border police agency said in a statement that the group of nine women, eight men and 11 children was spotted close to the Hungarian border early Friday and couldn’t explain why they were in the area,” reported AP. 28 in total were arrested on Friday.
The European Union has started infringement proceedings against Hungary, Poland, and the Czech Republic for refusing to admit hundreds of thousands of ‘refugees’ which they say will endanger their security.
