Ukrainian authorities are stating their intention to build a 150 meter (450 foot) telecommunications tower directly adjacent to the Crimean Peninsula for the purposes of enabling Ukrainian radio and TV transmissions into the territory. This was announced by the Ukrainian deputy communications minister Artyom Bidenko on his Facebook page.
