Konstantin Malofeev, principal owner of tsargrad.tv called for the institution in Russia of constitutional monarchy that would have only ceremonial powers. In his opinion Russia has nod had legitimate rule since the abdication of Nicholas II in March 1917. Malofeev called for a constitutional assembly that would reinstate the monarchy in ceremonial role and with it legitimate rule that would reconnect modern Russia to its 9th century roots in an unbroken chain.
