3 Czech Soldiers Killed By Suicide Bomber In Afghanistan

3 soldiers from the Czech Republic were killed by a suicide bomber in Afghanistan today. The men were part of the NATO contingent in-country fighting the insurgency, called the ‘Resolute Support Force’. They died while on a patrol with American and Afghan forces. One America and two Afghans were injured, reported RFERL.

Czech Prime Minister Andres Babis called the men ‘heroes’ in a Twitter post.

The Taliban claimed responsibility for the attack.

“Their sacrifice will endure in both our hearts and history and further strengthen our resolve,” declared U.S. Army General John Nicholson, commander of Resolute Support and U.S. Forces-Afghanistan.
