The old adage “We have two ears and one mouth for a reason” applies here. When in the presence of an elder, make sure to listen more than you speak as an elder’s words come from a place with many decades of experience.
Native Lessons To Respect Your Elders, White Wolf Pack
I have often wondered about the predicament America finds herself in. On one hand, we have generations of Americans that fought and died for freedom, even today, with our wounded warriors among us. On the other hand, we have a generation of Millennials who disavow everything their elders stood for, fought for, died for. They don’t just disavow their ancestors and the great causes they embraced and bled for, and from which they emerged victorious, they ridicule them. The disrespect is horrendous. Native Americans, which this generation so vocally tries to emulate and embrace, taught their youth to respect and understand their elders. So why don’t Millennials?
The simple truth is, if it were not for the United States of America, and the ideals it has stood for for several hundred years, the most successful experiment in human governance and freedom to ever exist on planet Earth, we would be living as slaves.
Millennials need to understand this. They need to appreciate this. They need to respect this. For their children’s future, they need to embrace this truth.
These kids grew up in good households. They were taught the right thing. The problem is, when they went to their liberal, university re-education camps, these teachings were lost. The effect is devastating.
It is also our fault. We allowed this to happen. We took our eye off the ball and allowed our children to be brainwashed by Marxist profs.
However, it is our children and their children (our grandchildren!) that will pay the price.
Communism ALWAYS kills! It will kill our children. If not their physical bodies, it will kill their spirit.
We cannot let this happen. It is time to rise…rise in the streets, rise in the halls of Congress, rise at the ballot box. We have seen the evils of socialism. We have experienced the death, the suffering, the loss of millions of human lives who could have made a difference.
Try again to teach our youth the blessings of liberty.
We owe it to them.
