Tripwire, my foot. More bureaucratic back slapping. The yackety yak goes on. And of course ultimately the emphasis will fall on the US to shoulder the costs and the manpower, not the Europeans who are at fault for not being prepared themselves. More American/Russian faceoffs in the future.
Where are the soldiers supposed to come from? Ok, Europe might put up two combat ready divisions with no experience. Against a well trained russian army. C’mon, not even the NATO are that stupid inside their fine glasshouse in Brussel. And no, US ain’t gonna send any troops to help NATO. Are you crazy, just before the midterms where every neocon rino are out, Nuland is in hiding and dems are facing total loss in House and Senate. And don’t give me that McConnell thinks Senate is 50/50. That’s just a sign, he ain’t gonna be speaker of the Senate.
