The German leadership is playing into the Russian propaganda that the Kremlin is facing a ‘Fourth Reich’ in Europe, led by the German state, in a replay in history. Moscow’s narrative is that the Ukrainian army is a proxy force for this attempted Nazi empire, with its Azov and Right Sektor battalions.
“Germany is already a participant in the conflict; its equipment and specialists are directly fighting Russia”, said former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev.
“And these are not just military supplies. In fact, this is full-fledged, not hybrid, participation in the military conflict.
“[German Chancellor] Merz is a loyal descendant of his relatives who fought in the Wehrmacht.”
“If there is information that German military specialists are taking part in the launch of long-range missiles at Russian territory, any decision on retaliatory actions may be made.”
German Chancellor Friedrich Merz has not ruled out the possibility of supplying Taurus cruise missiles to Ukraine, said the German leader on ZDF interview, reported Clash Report.
