In his first Western interview, newly-minted President Nicușor Dan gets in line with the EU and NATO’s desire for military control of Romania, showing why the bloc was so focused on the Romanian election. The first round was ‘canceled’ by the EU in a tyrannical move which caused this ‘do over’ to get ‘their man’ in charge to proceed with the globalist agenda.

Dan’s victory was cheered in the halls of power across much of Europe, where many centrist politicians and officials had feared [opposition candidate] Simion would derail their mainstream agenda, writes Politico.

The NATO military base being planned in Romania is massive and gives the ‘alliance’ access and possible control of the Black Sea, long a Russian backyard.

“That’s why I’m glad that Europeans have all decided together to continue supporting Ukraine until they get the most sensible peace for themselves,” says Dan.

Dan also supports continued NATO expansion.

The President said Romania has not been “active enough” in Brussels in recent years. Ahead of EU budget negotiations he has pledged to be more energetic in “promoting the Romanian interest, which would be in the near future the negotiation of the Multiannual Financial Framework [and] the Common Agriculture [Policy].” Expanding the EU to the Balkans and supporting Moldova’s “European direction” would also be key policies, he adds.

What about sending Romanian troops to Ukraine as part of any future peacekeeping force?

“First, to have a big operational support on Romanian territory, yes. To be part of the armies guaranteeing peace in Ukraine, no. I think it would not be very appropriate because of the tension that already exists between Romania and Russia.”

Dan has been critical of Trump’s approach to seeking a deal with Russian President Vladimir Putin, writes Politico, whose unrealistic demands do not augur well for the prospects of peace. Dan emphasizes again that when it comes to a settlement, “anything on Ukraine has to be decided and agreed by the Ukrainians themselves.” He adds: “I’m not very optimistic that we will have peace very soon and I’m also glad that Europeans together decided to continue to support Ukraine until they obtain the most reasonable peace for themselves.”

So, Dan does not seem to be for peace, but for continued war, right in line with his masters’ wishes.
