Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov declared today that the Western, liberal model of society is dying, and a new world order is taking its place. Lavrov made the comments at his annual meeting with students and professors at the Foreign Ministry’s Diplomatic Academy, reported Russian state news agency TASS.
“The Western liberal model of development, which particularly stipulates a partial loss of national sovereignty – this is what our Western colleagues aimed at when they invented what they called globalization – is losing its attractiveness and is no more viewed as a perfect model for all. Moreover, many people in the very western countries are skeptical about it,” Lavrov said.
According to him, global development is guided “by processes aimed at boosting multipolarity and what we call a polycentric world order.”

“Clearly, multipolarity and the emergence of new centers of power in every way requires efforts to maintain global stability and search for a balance of interests and compromises, so diplomacy should play a leading role here,” Lavrov went on to say. “Particularly because there are a lot of issues that require generally acceptable solutions. These include regional conflicts, international terrorism, food security and environmental protection. This is why we believe that only diplomacy can help make agreements and reach sustainable decisions that will be accepted by all.
“The US and its allies are trying to impose their approaches on others,” Lavrov noted. “They are guided by a clear desire to preserve their centuries-long dominance in global affairs although from the economic and financial standpoint, the US – alone or with its allies – can no longer resolve all global economic and political issues,” he said.
“In order to preserve their dominance and recover their indisputable authority, they use blackmail and pressure. They don’t hesitate to blatantly interfere in the affairs of sovereign states.”

There is little I can disagree with regarding Sergei Lavrov’s comments and stated observations. It is true: We, the US economic and military power, has been used by those who many decades ago determined the nation state must be vanquished, individual liberties moderated for the good of the effort, and so it went…. If the American people would really step back, understand their real history, and the uniqueness of this great nation, they would make very severe demands on these parasites parading as political leaders to radically change course, not only in our foreign invasion a/k/a “foreign policy” that pretends to help, but doesn’t and serves a broader agenda of elites who long ago conducted numerous successful changes to the American experience.
God help us.

I’m sure Sputin would like to think there was a ‘new world order’ in the works but he’s not the brightest bulb on the tree, eh? Sputin is still fighting the cold war and should realize that his ‘gas station posing as a nation’ is small potatoes. He exposes his new weapons of mass destruction like a twelve year old with a over-sized penis that thinks his genitals will bring him fame even though he’s a retard. After President Trump is re-elected in 2020, he is going to shock the world by working with Putin to establish a capitalist peace that respects cultural coexistence and mutual prosperity. President Putin already signaled his willingness to reform the UN, and establish a BRICS gold standard to challenge the U.S. dollar. Allegations that Russia hacked our democracy and Trump / Russia collusion was preemptive strike against a Trump/Putin world order. Trump has already disowned democratic peace theory by declaring the U.S. no longer seeks to tell people how to govern their affairs. From 1949 to 1980, progressive members of Congress tried to establish an Atlantic Union or world federation. Most of them have passed, but the remaining few (like Charles Rangel) choose to ignore Putin’s overtures. See the history at http://www.universalu.org. The Senate Foreign Relations Committee must hold hearings on world order strategy so they can advise and consent during Trump’s second term. Reagan secured arms control treaties and ended the Cold War. Trump’s legacy will be a capitalist peace. Remember, unless Trump changes the structure of international organization, progressive internationalists will simply pick up where they left off in 2016. They are resilient.
Wow, all the talk about looking to start a civil war in the US… maybe there’s a few crazies out there talking like that, but, like others have said – more likely than not these are paid Russian trolls trying to tear America apart from the inside. There is indeed a New World Order coming, but Russia will not play a significant role in it.
