Video – The Real Pink Panther: Man Walks Into Russian Museum, Calmly Takes Kuindzhi Off Wall And Walks Out

A man strolled into the State Tretyakov Gallery in Moscow on Sunday, admired the art, then calmly took the painting titled “Ai-Petri. Crimea” by Russian artist Arkhip Kuindzhi off the wall and walked out. The work is valued around $200,000.

Police captured the man hours later and recovered the painting in tact a day later. The museum promises ‘better security’. Last year a famous painting of Russian Tsar Ivan the Terrible holding his son as he lay dying from his own hand was damaged with a metal rod at the same institution.
