The US is in early talks with the Taliban about possibly re-establishing a small US military presence at Afghanistan’s Bagram Air Base for counterterrorism missions.

The Taliban hasn’t agreed, and Afghan officials have rejected any US troop return while leaving open economic and political cooperation, reported WSJ.

Discussions also include prisoner exchanges and economic ties, but no plans are in place yet.

Taliban Spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid — “Afghans are extremely sensitive about occupation, and no Afghan will ever allow their land to be taken or controlled by outsiders – not even an inch.

“The US should engage with Afghans politically, diplomatically, and rationally.

“Bagram is part of Afghanistan’s territory. It is no different from any other piece of Afghan land. We will never agree to bargain away or hand over any part of our country,” reported Al Arabiya.

12 leaving wolves :
Once upon a time
There was a good race
Chosen to be good
Good for human race
Merciful for creatures
Not for only they
Gradually a sect of it
Weren’t worth that grace
They were led astray
To the least of grades
Morals they abandoned
Dirty wars they waged
Even changing scriptures
In favor for theirs
By corrupt clergies
For little gain pay

Cunningness and force
Were their tools and way
For that plot that failed.
Prophets came to warn
Some were killed
Some denied unknown
Final promised Herald
Written in their scriptures
Arrogantly they fought
Though to them He’s known
Stubbornly refusing
Else what they would say
From their tribe or nay
Led astray were they
From truth far away
Though the prophet came
For mercy and rescue
Deaf they did the same
And their oath betray
They didn’t obey
Arrogant in disbelief
Waging wars with mischief
By hindering any peace
Lost that called pure race
Down down to the base
By refusing truth
No effort is worth
Failure is that plan
With its guilt off rand
Anger over anger
Deeds deserving curse .

Yet there’s always hope
And chance for the good
As mercy was sent
Take it or lose all
With arrogance you’ve built
There’s always love
As Eslam arrive
Calling for peace
And the right path guide
Obedient predecessors
Of prophet Abraham
Inherited the lands
No need to repeat the story
Or stand against the wind
Land is for the good.
