Serbia’s Defence Minister said on Thursday that President Aleksandar Vucic would win the Nobel Peace Prize if he recognized Kosovo’s independence.
Serbia Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said on Tuesday that as long as he is president, Serbia will not recognize Kosovo as an independent state.
Serbian Defense Minister Aleksandar Vulin said that “if Vucic recognizes Kosovo’s independence, he would immediately win the ‘Nobel Peace Prize’. “And if he allowed the destruction of Republika Srpska, he would become a European commissioner for whatever he pleased.”
The Nobel Peace Prize is awarded by the Norwegian Academy of Sciences to figures who contribute during the year to world peace.
