Terrorists Fired Mortars Near Russian Embassy In SyriaIn Syria

The Mazraa Neighborhood in Damascus where the Russian embassy is located, underwent mortar fire by militants, reports RIA Novosti.

Two shells exploded near the territory of the Russian diplomatic mission, no deaths and injuries.

According to the Syrian army, the fire was from Jobaria, which is under the control of insurgents “Ahrar al-Sham” and “Dzhebhat en-Nusra”.

Previously, the Russian Embassy in Damascus came under mortar fire on February 2 and 3.
