Gazprom Books Record Gas Production


 

Russian company “Gazprom” has set a new record of gas exports in January 2017. 636.4 million cubic meters per day was exported by Gazprom, RIA Novosti reported, citing the company’s statement.

This week has already become the “Gazprom” record. The fourth day in a row the company updates the absolute maximum daily deliveries. New historic peak recorded on 27 January was 636.4 million cubic meters “, – the company said.

It is noted that dynamic demand growth occurred in the CIS (The Commonwealth of Independent States) and other partner countries. Purchases of Russian gas from 1 to January 27 increased in countries such as Hungary, – an increase of 11.2% compared to the same period last year, Serbia – 5.1%, Bulgaria – 16%.

 

“Gazprom” – is a global energy company. “Gazprom” has the world’s richest reserves of natural gas. Its share of world gas reserves is 17%, of Russian reserves – 72%.  “Gazprom” supplies 11% of global and 66% of Russian gas production.
