Shooter On Russian Border In Finland


A gunman armed with a rifle opened fire on people in a restaurant located in the Finnish town of Imatra close to the Russian border in the vicinity of St. Petersburg.

As a result of the fire, the mayor of the small town and two female journalists received gunshot wounds and passed away at the scene.

The shooter was identified as a 23 year old local resident. He offered no explanation for his actions and surrendered to the police without incident.
