A BBC reporter interview Turkey’s Ibrahim Kalin, an assistant to Turkish President Recep Erdogan. He outlined the terms Russian President Vlaidmir Putin discussed with the Turkish leader for ending hostilities in Ukraine.

The Russian demands fall into two categories.

Chief among them is an acceptance by Ukraine that it should be neutral and should not apply to join Nato. Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky has already conceded this.

Ukraine would have to undergo a disarmament process to ensure it wasn’t a threat to Russia. There would have to be protection for the Russian language in Ukraine. And there is something called de-Nazification.

Although Mr Kalin didn’t go into detail, the assumption is that Russia will demand that the Ukrainian government should give up territory in eastern Ukraine.

The other assumption is that Russia will demand that Ukraine should formally accept that Crimea belongs to the Russian Federation.

In reality the terms do not appear to be over-the-top and looks like Ukraine could negotiate a solution, if only the globalist West will stop pushing for continuing war with Moscow and NATO involvement.

Unfortunately, Zelensky takes his orders from Washington, and Washington’s terms are “No” to all of Russia’s demands..

Putin is a war criminal: A monster. No justification whatsoever for invading another country, causing so much horror for innocents. A throwback to Stalinism which ultimately will crush the Russian people as much as any imaginary ‘enemy’.

Zelensky is trying to protect his country from another invasion from Russia. Given that Russia promised to honor Ukraine’s territory in 1993, in return for Ukraine giving up nuclear missiles, then invaded Ukraine repeatedly, why would Ukraine agree to give up self-defense in return for Russia promises that were already given and broken?
