U.S. President Donald Trump has cancelled his summit with Russian President Vladimir Putin on the sidelines of the upcoming G-20 meeting in Argentina, citing the failure of Russia to return the ships and crew from the incident with the Ukrainian navy in the Sea of Azov over the weekend.

Ukraine-Russia Clash Is Not America’s Fight

“We are flying to Argentina. So far, we have only seen the tweet and the media [on Trump cancelling the meeting with Putin]. We have no official information,” the Kremlin spokesman noted, reported Russian state news agency TASS.

“If this is so [Trump has canceled a meeting with Putin], the president [of Russia] will have a couple of additional hours on the program for useful meetings on the sidelines of the summit.”
