The Biden administration threatened the Russian Federation with ‘consequences’ if the Kremlin moves aggressively on Ukraine after a buildup of Russian troops on the Ukrainian border.
NATO is encroaching on Russia’s near abroad with talk of adding Kyiv to the alliance. Most likely, this is unacceptable to Russian leadership, as Ukraine is the birthplace of Russian civilization under Vladimir the Great. Vladimir Putin most likely would work to prevent this outcome.
Biden and Secretary of State have no problem however with China threatening the world and specifically the South China Sea, Taiwan and other American allies in the Pacific. Joe Biden and his son are publicly compromised via business deals and bribes from the Chinese Communist Party in Beijing. Biden is also looking to once again appease Iran, a policy pursued under the Obama administration.
“President Biden is very clear about this. If Russia acts recklessly or aggressively, there will be costs, there will be consequences,” Blinken said adding that Biden would keep the word.
When asked about the effectiveness of policy towards Russia under the previous administrations and the possibility to return to Barack Obama’s policy, Blinken answered that it was not possible, reported Russian state news agency TASS.
“We cannot go back to four years ago, or six years ago or eight years ago, pick your year. We have to deal with the world as it’s now and as we anticipate it will be,” he stressed.
