A knowledgeable source in-country has informed CDMedia the Russian government is becoming concerned about Chinese influence in Central Asia and Afghanistan in particular. China is now using Bagram Air Base in the northeast which the Biden Administration foolishly abandoned prior to the ‘evacuation’ and the fall of Kabul. China has also infiltrated the Afghan Interior and Foreign Ministries and is gaining access to natural resources and infrastructure.

Russia participated in a teleconference in Iran today where Foreign Minister Lavrov declared Moscow would begin sending the Taliban food and advice.

Moscow will soon send a shipment of food and medicine to Afghanistan, with the expectation that the US, the EU and NATO will bear the brunt of restoring this country, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said in a video address to a meeting of foreign ministers of Afghanistan’s neighbor countries in Tehran. Participants concluded that it is necessary to establish relations one way or another with the Taliban (outlawed in Russia), reported Russian state news agency TASS.

The Russian top diplomat said that nowadays it is vitally important to create normal living conditions in Afghanistan because only this can remove the key threats emanating from this country, that is, terrorism, the flow of illegal migrants and drugs. The participants indicated that they expect large-scale efforts from the global community on comprehensive aid to Afghanistan. With that in mind, the Russian foreign minister noted that Moscow is ready to support Afghanistan independently and immediately. While demanding that the West help Afghanistan, Lavrov, like other participants, did not impose any demands on the Taliban. Afghanistan’s neighbors are still maintaining their expectations from the movement, that an inclusive government be formed, representing at least all of the country’s ethnic groups.

There’s no doubt that Russia has to be concerned about China’s growing influence in the region. They’re practically neighbors and China has its eyes on the Russian gas and oil deposits. Mr. Putin is well aware even if Biden and his European idiots aren’t, that the Chinese pose the biggest threat to European and American sovereignty in 100 years. Mr. Putin like Mr. Trump saw the need for stronger ties between their two respective countries as a counterpoint to the Chinese. Let’s get this going or we’ll all end up speaking Mandarin and buying our oil from China.
