U.S. National Security Advisor John Bolton laid flowers today at the makeshift memorial to Kremlin critic Boris Nemtsov who was assassinated on a bridge near the Kremlin three years ago. Bolton met with the Russian leadership to outline plans to withdraw from the 1987 INF nuclear treaty and to discuss Russian interference in the 2016 election. Advisor Bolton told Putin and his staff that the interference did not change the outcome but for sure increased mistrust of the Russian Federation to hyperbolic levels.
