The Kremlin’s attempt to raise the retirement age has set off a storm of protest from the elderly across the Russian Federation.

The Communist Party rallied supporters outside the State Duma building in Moscow, as the lower house of the Russian parliament voted on a controversial plan to raise the retirement age, reported RFERL.
