Attackers doused a Ukrainian activist from the Anticorruption Action Center (ANTAC) with a green chemical liquid and cream pies as he protested the dropping of a corruption case prosecution in Kyiv. Vitaliy Shabunin says he suffered chemical burns in the attack, reported RFERL. The Zelyonka chemical is sold locally as an antiseptic.

The fight against corruption in Ukraine seems to be sliding backwards, as violence against victims who speak out and anti-corruption activists escalates.
