Belarus Opens Visa-Free Regime For Citizens Of 80 Countries

Belarus opens up visa-free regime for 80 countries

The president of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, on January 9th signed a document that establishes visa-free entry to Belarus for five days for citizens of 80 countries.

The visa-free regime applies to 39 countries in Europe, including the entire European Union, as well as Brazil, Indonesia, US, Japan and other counties.

The most favorable status countries are Belarus’ strategic partners and countries without migration problems.

The document is aimed to enhance the flow of business travelers, tourists, and individuals with a regular passport. The new rule does not not apply to official travel.

The decree will come into force one month after its official publication.
