Tsarizm has confirmed Russian media is reporting Kremlin dissident Alexei Navalny has died in a Russian penal colony. The reason given is a possible blood clot that dislodged and caused heart incident.
Navalny famously alleged massive Kremlin corruption and was imprisoned on what many believe are political charges.
We will report more as we receive.
Below Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov responds to the news. Peskov declared there is an official investigation going on at the prison, but there will be no additional investigations.
“Now, with all the current rules, the FSIN is engaged in all checks, clarifications, and so on. No instructions are required for this, because there is a certain set of rules on this matter. About the blood clot, doctors should figure that out,” said Peskov.
