An attempted drone attack was reportedly carried out by Ukrainian forces who were targeting Moscow.

Around 11 UAVs were intercepted over Moscow, Bryansk, Kaluga and Tula with Russia claiming all UAVs were en route to Moscow.

Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin wrote on Telegram that the drones were shot down by Russian air defences. There are no reports of damage or casualties, reported Inkerman.

The Ukrainian General in charge of the UAV campaign said earlier this month that such operations inside Russia would increase during winter when fighting inside Ukraine becomes increasingly affected by poor weather.

This drone attack comes one day after a Russian drone attack on Kyiv where the Ukrainian Air Force claimed to have intercepted at least 70 Russian UAVs.
