Albanian Parliament Approves Changes to Electoral Code

The Albanian parliament has approved the changes to the Electoral Code agreed upon by the Political Council on June 5.

The changes passed with 97 votes for, 6 against, and 4 abstentions.

The June 5 agreement will change the Electoral Code via the amendments agreed upon in the Political Council by the Socialist Party (PS), the parliamentary opposition, and the extra-parliamentary opposition made up of the Democratic Party (PD), and the Socialist Movement for Integration (LSI).
