A source is reporting that South Korean intelligence sources claim that 1,500 North Korean special forces troops have travelled to the far-east of Russia for training.
It is believed that the North Korean troops will be deployed by Russia in Ukraine. They have reportedly been issued with Russian military uniforms and fake ID documents.
South Korean officials believe that the Russia – North Korea relationship has further deepened and moved beyond the supply of military equipment.
