Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan warned this week that Muslim Azerbaijan is planning a full scale assault against Christian Armenia.
“Our analysis shows that Azerbaijan wants to launch military action in some parts of the border with the prospect of turning military escalation into a full-scale war against Armenia,” Pashinyan said at a government meeting.
“This intention can be read in all statements and actions of Azerbaijan,” he added, reported AFP.
Azerbaijan responded with denial.
“We have no territorial claims to Armenia. And they should give up their claims. Talking to us in the language of blackmail will cost them dearly,” declared Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev in aninaguartion speech after his re-election.

Now what, Joe? Are we funding Armenia’s war, too? Along with Israel’s and Ukraine’s? Or can’t you launder money through Armenia?
There’s a lot going on out there. There’s this, Nicaragua building up on the border withe Guyana. A whole bunch of African countries in conflict. The elephant in the room being China and Taiwan. It’s a dangerous moment in time. I say let the various regions figure themselves out. EVERY time we get involved it costs us one way or another. For the immediate future let’s see if the people involved and geographically affected sort themselves out. I can’t imagine a scenario where Joe and Kamala can figure a plan that works. Unless you consider spending our great grand kids futures now by blank checking everything.
