Prime Minister Of Georgia Meets President Trump

Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili met the president of the U.S. Donald Trump on May 8th. As Kvirikashvili told journalists, Georgian has received very clear messages about the current and future support of Georgia.

“We had quite a big meeting with the Vice President Mike Pence. We somewhat summarized our relations of the past 25 years. As you know, we are celebrating the 25th anniversary of our friendship and we are looking forward to the next 25 to come. We made very solid guarantees regarding the endorsement of our mutual partnership in every aspect. This is a defense and security direction, cultural relations, future support in the development of democratic institutions, and deepening economic relations. I think it was a very important meeting, which proceeded with the meeting with the President. We also received very conspicuous messages from the President regarding the support for Georgia and we think that this will play the key role in the future development and stability in Georgia. And the U.S., as the main strategic partner of Georgia, will continue to support us, our relations will significantly deepen” –  said Giorgi Kvirikashvili during the talk with press.

Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili also met Vice President Mike Pence. According to the press service of the government administration, the sides discussed key issues of strategic partnership and future prospective of cooperation.

 

The Prime Minister of Georgia is on a three-day official visit to the United States with the invitation of U.S. Vice President.
