Brussels Tells Hungary-Take Refugees Or Face Legal Action

The European Union has informed Poland and Hungary that if they don’t take refugees per the bloc’s plan, they will face legal action.

“If Member States do not increase their relocations soon, the Commission will not hesitate to make use of its powers … for those which have not complied,” the bloc’s executive arm said in a statement, reports Reuters.

Many states have pushed for strong action against the Eastern European states, causing heightened tensions between member countries.

Hungary has filed its own lawsuit on the issue which is scheduled to be heard in court on May 10th. The Western states of the EU are also concerned about perceived weakening of the ‘rule of law’ in the eastern regions, especially Poland and Hungary.

For their part, the eastern countries perceive the acceptance of millions of Islamic residents will be a huge burden financially and is essentially cultural suicide. For them it is an easy decision, not to accept the ‘progressive’ agenda of Brussels. They would rather be alone than commit seppuku.
