Russia launched a ballistic missile attack on Kyiv at approximately 3:38 a.m. local time on Saturday, striking three districts of the capital and injuring at least 11 people — including an 11-year-old boy, four of whom required hospitalization. The overnight salvo consisted of 12 guided missiles: six Iskander-M and S-400 ballistic missiles, four Kh-59/Kh-69 cruise missiles, and two Kh-31 anti-radiation missiles, alongside 121 drones. Ukrainian air defenses, by their own account, intercepted two guided missiles and 111 drones. The ballistic missiles — the high-end threat — got through.
Zelensky said it plainly: “Most of the targets were shot down by our defenders, but not the ballistic missiles.” He immediately used the attack to pressure NATO partners to deliver on Ankara summit commitments — specifically Patriot interceptors and the joint European anti-ballistic project. The subtext is critical: Ukraine’s air defense network cannot reliably handle Iskander-M strikes. The interceptors promised at Ankara are not yet in Ukrainian hands. Russia knows the gap and is exploiting it on a near-nightly basis — this is the second Kyiv ballistic missile strike in three days.
On the ground in eastern Ukraine, a separate information battle is playing out around Kostiantynivka in Donetsk. Russia’s Defense Ministry claimed it has captured the city; Ukraine’s military flatly denied it. OSINT mapping by the Ukrainian group DeepState shows much of the city in a “gray zone,” with Russian forces attempting a pincer movement but not yet in complete control. The information war is red hot.
Worth noting on casualty figures: CSIS published new data this week putting Russian losses at approximately 1.4 million total casualties and 450,000 fatalities. Treat these figures as Western think-tank estimates attributed to their source — not independently verifiable. CDM’s read: mainstream Western estimates routinely overstate Russian losses while understating Ukrainian ones.
The bottom line – both sides are losing thousands of men a week.
The war needs to end. However, the globalist machine wants to keep it going, and Russia is now determined to achieve victory.
Perhaps other world leaders need to step in.

There is no path to victory for Putin, and Putin is the man that keeps the war going. No one forced him to invade Ukraine. Putin made the decision for reasons of empire. You can t5y to blame the war on globalists, but Putin is the cause of the war and the reason it continues.
It is noted that Putin’s main targets are civilians.
