Andriy Portnov, aide of ex-Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovich, was shot and killed in a targeted assassination in Madrid.
The 52-year-old former official, who had faced treason charges in Ukraine and was widely accused of collaborating with Russia, was reportedly shot five times, including once in the neck.
Witnesses say the gunman then approached Portnov as he lay wounded and delivered a fatal shot to the head before fleeing the scene, writes Clash Report.
