Pressure has mounted on the leadership in Kyiv, under forceful suggestion from Washington, to lower the mobilization (otherwise known as conscription) age to 18. The age currently is 25.
Reports are today that Kyiv has agreed to indeed reduce the conscription age to 18.
We have reported heavily on the privatization of ‘recruitment’ in Ukraine by so-called ‘bounty hunters’, who are removing males from the streets of Ukraine and sending to the front, after a few days of training. Their life expectancy has been reported to be in hours, not days.
