Russia has extended another harsh warning to the U.S. regarding potential future attacks on Russian-controlled Crimea. “Strikes on this territory are considered by us as an attack on any other region of the Russian Federation. It is important that the United States is fully aware of the Russian response,” Anatoly Antonov, Russia’s ambassador to the U.S. said on Sunday.

Previously over the weekend, according to Zerohedge, U.S. National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan said during the G7 summit in Japan that “we have not placed limitations on Ukraine being able to strike on its territory… What we’ve said is that we won’t enable Ukraine with U.S.-systems to attack Russia. And we believe Crimea is Ukraine.” Sullivan’s remarks prompted Moscow to issue its stern warning to Washington.

Antonov took to Telegram to further express his opinion that the U.S. has never had a genuine interest in negotiating peace between Ukraine and Russia saying that “the unconditional approval of strikes on Crimea using American and other Western weapons” as well as the push among NATO allies to provide Ukraine with fighter jets “clearly demonstrate that the United States has never been interested in peace.”

The ambassador also cautioned the Biden administration against “thoughtless judgments on Crimea, especially in terms of ‘blessing’ the Kiev regime for air attacks,” on the region.

According to Russian state media, Kremlin official and Crimean Deputy Prime Minister Georgy Muradov claimed that by allowing Kyiv to use U.S.-produced planes to target Crimea, Washington had “agreed to unleashing a nuclear war.”

The Deputy PM went on to reiterate that Crimea is home to Russia’s Black Sea Fleet saying, “An attack on one of the pillars of Russia’s strategic security legally obliges our country to use all available means to prevent it from being undermined.”

The accusations don’t stop with insinuating that the U.S. has provided fighter jets that are being used to strike Crimea but in recent weeks, the Kremlin has also accused Ukrainian troops of using UK-supplied long-range rockets which are also capable of striking targets inside Russian territory.

The accusation that Kyiv is using UK-supplied Storm Shadow missiles to strike Russian or Crimean targets is also of great concern as many observers fear that Putin will use the move as an excuse to further escalate the war into a direct conflict between Russia and NATO.

Who writes the histories usually, the conquerors. In your little world that means the conquered are forever under the boot of the victors. Sadly for you it does not work that way Sgt. Ivan. As to always, what a hyperbolic crock of propagandistic BS. Hyperbole is the refuge of a liar such as yourself.

Regardless of what Putin’s Russia believes, after the fall of the Soviet Union the Russian Federation agreed to Ukraines borders and they included Crimea. Tsar Putin is delusional if anyone other than his “allies” believe his nonsense. Keep huffing and puffing you silly little man.
