Lawyer and environmental activist Zuzana Caputova has been inaugurated as Slovakia’s first female president. The June 15 ceremony in the capital, Bratislava, came after Caputova’s victory in the March 30 presidential runoff. The new president greeted supporters as she walked from the swearing-in ceremony to an ecumenical service at St. Martin’s Cathedral, reported RFERL.
