Tbilisi, Georgia — The Trump Organization is set to partner with local developers on a new 70-story skyscraper in Tbilisi that would become the tallest building in the Georgian capital, according to a report by The Wall Street Journal.
The mixed-use project, dubbed Trump Tower Tbilisi, will feature luxury residences, high-end retail, and hotel-style amenities. It is being designed by the global architecture firm Gensler and backed by a consortium including Georgia-based real estate firm Archi Group and Biograpi Living, part of a larger Georgian conglomerate. Additional partners mentioned in related announcements include The Sapir Organization, Blox Group, and Finvest Georgia.
A representative for the Trump Organization’s partners on the project confirmed the plans to the Journal. Reuters, which first circulated the story, said it could not independently verify the details, and the Trump Organization did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
The development marks the latest international branding deal for the Trump family’s real estate business during President Trump’s second term. In February, the organization signed a similar agreement for its first tower in Australia, a project valued at A$1.5 billion (approximately $1.07 billion).
The announcement comes after the Trump Organization stated in January that the president’s investments, assets, and business interests would be placed in a trust managed by his children. Trump himself would have no role in day-to-day operations or decision-making, though as a beneficiary he would receive income generated by the ventures after leaving office.
The proposed tower is described as a landmark project that signals Tbilisi’s growing profile as a hub for luxury real estate and international business in the region. If completed, it would significantly alter the city’s skyline in the Caucasus.
This would be the first Trump-branded development in Georgia, distinct from an earlier, uncompleted project in the coastal city of Batumi that was once associated with the Trump name but later moved forward without the branding.
